Apologies
The site got hacked last week. It took awhile to figure out what the problem was, but it’s all fixed now. Sorry for any inconvenience.
Website Maintenance
I’ll be doing some restructuring of this website for the next few days. Please bear with me as I try to make the site better. Hopefully it will all go smoothly. But just in case, forgive the mess

Subscribe!
I just wanted to let all our friends here know about our "subscribe" feature. In the left-hand column on this page, there is a space to put in your email address so you can receive an email anytime there’s something new on this site.
For those who use Google Reader or other RSS readers, you can click the RSS link at the top to get updates sent to your feed reader.
If you aren’t familiar with RSS, it stands for "really simple syndication." No joke! It allows us to send out each new post on our page as a "feed."
Basically, you can use a website like Google Reader (http://www.google.com/reader) to "collect" updates from multiple websites all in one place. It’s kind of like an email box, but instead of getting emails, you get all the new posts from the websites or blogs you subscribe to. It saves you from having to go to each website every day to check for new posts.
Websites that send out these updates will have a link called "RSS," "Feeds," or they will have a symbol in the address bar called a "chicklet" which is usually orange and looks like this: ![]()
These are just two ways you can be sure never to miss important info from RockHonduras.com!
If you use a feed reader, I highly recommend subscribing to the feeds of our partners:

GCLA New Missions Website
GCLA has a new Missions website! It’s geared toward those who have gone, plan to go, or are interested in going on a short-term mission trip to Latin America. The new site is super cool, has RSS feed, lots of pictures, and a place for you to share your story about your experience in Latin America.
Due to the change in the website, the place to apply is now http://www.gclamissions.com, click on the "Register" tab. I apologize that the address I had on the info sheet was incorrect. The week I had to print the info sheet was the very week their website was in transition, so I had to just go with the info I had at the time, even though I suspected it would be changing.
If you find that any of my links to GCLA-related sites are not working, please let me know. It’s hard for me to remember all the places I might have linked to their site, so I might have missed some.
UPDATE: The link to the Training Manual is not working yet. I’ve left a message on their site, so hopefully they’ll get that fixed soon. In the mean time, I have uploaded the pdf to my server. Here’s the link.

New Site Under Construction
Welcome to the new and improved Rock Honduras website. All the same info is still here, it’s just a little smoother, easier to update, and now has RSS feed!
The site officially goes live on November 20, so until then consider it under construction.
Thanks for visiting!
