The Spring Break trip is now available for online registration at gclamissions.com

To Apply:
1. Go to GCLA’s website: www.gclamissions.com
2. Click on Register Online (top menu bar)
3. Select a project from the scroll-down list
4. Fill in the fields (4 pages total)
5. Click Submit at the end.

Our first meeting is Sunday, December 12 at 6pm at John Drage’s house. This is a mandatory meeting for support raising training. If you absolutely cannot be there, please let Stevi know so we can get you the materials and info you will need.

In order for the mission trip coordinator to make all the travel and other arrangements on time, you must:

Apply online by January 30. The application fee is of $100, and it’s a non-refundable deposit to make a deposit for the airline reservations. Please make the check payable to Great Commission Latin America, and give it to the mission trip leader. This amount will be credited to your final trip cost.
Plane tickets will be purchased for each missionary by February 13. You need to have in your missionary account $725 (this amount includes your $100 application fee).
The balance of the trip funds-$805, is due by March 6. The total cost is $1,530. (This cost is subject to change when the airlines increase the fuel surcharge and/or taxes, or if the number of the team’s participants drops below 10 people).

Important Dates

Jan. 30 – $100 non-refundable deposit due
Feb. 13 – $625 first installment
Mar. 6 – $805 remaining balance of the trip due
Mar. 20 – Leave for Choluteca, Honduras

Thursday Night January 29, 2009 after Rock PWC – 15 minute meeting- Deposit due!
Sunday Night February 8 at 6PM – Dinner at John’s house. Let’s bring our first installment money to send together this day. We will send it together.
Sunday Night February 22 at 6 PM – Dinner at John’s house.
Sunday Night March 15 at 6PM – Dinner at John’s house.

Support Raising Training

Our meeting for support raising training is on Wednesday, December 17, at 8pm.

If you’re planning to go on the trip in March, please plan to be there. Email me (Stevi) for details.

If you think you might be interested in going to Honduras for Spring Break, but you missed the last info meeting, you are in luck! We’re having another info meeting on Saturday, December 13, right after The Rock’s special Christmas service.

That also means we are extending the deadline for applying online. If you know you want to go, you can go ahead and apply now. But those who are still undecided don’t have to worry about the deadline for awhile.

If you have any interest or curiosity about going to Honduras for Spring Break, we will be having an info meeting on Thursday, November 20 after Axis. Axis is meeting in Strickland 210 at 8pm, so the meeting will probably be at 9 in one of the rooms across the hall. If you are interested in going, but can’t make it Thursday night, email us, and we’ll be sure to get you all the info.
